I had to stop playing Dungeon & Fighter because the new Hackshield update ruined it. But, two weeks later a patch fixed it!~ And! August 6, we will be getting the new Thief class. I am going to try it out. Summoned monsters in this game have failed to impress me, so I'll probably go Rogue. Rogue looks to be a fast fighting character. Necromancer has a pink aura around it. No, thanks. EDIT: Disregard that. Hackshield is blocking me again. Apparently it thinks I'm hacking and won't let me play. Wth. So much for this game. Originally posted 2009/08/03

I haven't said much about DnF lately. Well, I'll catch you up. Mostly been grinding out quests and leeching from the Chocoboy. He's so uber, being over 20 levels higher than us. What's great (or bad, depending on your view) is that you can share exp with anyone of any level. So, everything he kills gives us exp. However, apparently each level has a special cap of earnable exp, so we can't just have him take us to a high level zone and leech us that way. So we're doing zones for about our level. Looks like they're the Guardians of the Ball. Nice ... hair? Some boss guy. Haha, Lune fell asleep. Not much later, Uuu also fell asleep. It's blue, thus I like it. My reaction was more on the lines of "wtf...?" What's even more funny is that cultists can jump out of the blimp. And, the cultists are as tall as the blimp ......... Uuu summoned ... a mouse mage? I logged in to DnF and started killing zombies, trying to get to level 18. And in the middle of the run, I was assaulted by system messages: Someone wants to be my friend. The Uchocoboy found me! (Zoomed pic) His character is a girl. Cute either way. We're now part of the kthxbai guild, too. He's level 51 !! Look at his cool magical-y skills~ After some grinding (read: leeching) I got to level 18. Now to choose a 2nd class. Uhhhhhhhhh.... Well, Lune wanted me to be a spitfire because of the cool elemental buffs. You can buff other gunners with them. I really never thought about what class to be, and I never looked up any class info. Usually I hate it when people boss me around, but, to be honest, I just don't care in this case. So I went spitfire as Lune wanted. But, part of the qust requires you to complete zombies with a full party. How are we gonna get a full party? Luckily Uchocobo knows Korean. I had no idea! I don't know why but ...

So, TW closed beta ended. But we cannot live without DnF (or that's how a certain friend of mine acts), so after a few hours of dealing with Internet Explorer problems, I logged into KR DnF's main page with my old nexon account and figured out how to download the client there. So now we're playing the Korean version. And the best part is, it's not in beta, so we won't get wiped. Also, I can read some Korean, so maybe we'll have better luck doing quests :) And! They have female gunners. I still suck at aiming. As you can see, Richter is doing all the work again. I kick the Ice Witch in the face. It's so .... BUSY! But, we -were- playing at 11pm, which corresponds to about noon in Korea. Also there is some sort of event going on. I keep calling it new years' event but that's just because I'm stupid. He even knows how to jump and shoot. My goodness. But Richter still wants me to make a female gunner when they're out. Oh look at the blood. I love it. So, at the urging of a friend, I somehow snuck into the Tawian closed beta for Dungeon & Fighter, an arcade-type fighting game. It's online, but dungeons are completely instanced, so you don't have to worry about griefers. I suck at these type of games, generally, but I'm having a blast with it! Our first time in was pretty lame. Due to latency issues, we couldn't get past the first room of our dungeon. So I watched Arche jump around and attack the sky for a few minutes before we gave up and played solo. Arche is a mage. I'm a fighter. Punch, punch! My first score from soloing the newbie area. That's good, right? Soloing isn't all that fun... so later we made gunners and tried again. And it worked! I'm Stanre. I came up with the name on the spot. He's Richter. I suck at aiming!
