G9 Fun (not!)

At one point in G9, you have to complete a collection book. It needs alchemy parts that you can obtain in the shadow world. There are 8 pieces. Dorren, the old lady, keeps giving you harder and harder quests (there are levels 1~8).

I need pieces #1 and #7. And I'm on mission #8. The hardest one.

And some issues happened with the H man so I had to solo a lot of it. The first thing I noticed was that they changed the orbs since the last time I was here! They're glowy and colorful. Now they are much easier to see.

I like this one... can you guess why? XD

After finding out how hard it was, and still failing to get the pieces we need, we enlisted the help of Rozalis, an archer. I'm not sure if I introduced him before. There are few english-speaking players around these days, so it's great to know him!

Here is the best picture I could get of him. Well his char is a girl, but with the meaning G.I.R.L. haha.   Also enjoy the hot pink orb.

As it turns out, you can force the piece you need to drop. What affects the mission's drop is what in-game time you enter the mission. I was wondering what this "Sundial of Darkness" item was for! Thank goodness for Rozalis being able to figure that out for us!

So, we entered at the right time for piece #7.

Well, I didn't take any battle pics, but trust me on it, it's damn hard!

Rozalis is big into alchemy. He gets all happy when we give him spare crystals. I myself do not care much for alchemy. It's too complicated for me; I can't even coordinate a bow & range skills for my secondary weapon, let alone a cylinder and alchemy skills. Also, Mana Forming, the basis for many alchemy skills, has training reqs
that are, and I quote a JP wiki user, "masochistic." You thought Windmill was bad? Take a look at it!

Roz and I took a small break in the shadow world to make crystals.

Anyway, we gave Roz some Golem crystals, so he made one. He's got rank 1 golem transmutation, dang, man.

It certainly saved the day.

After our victory, he and Herro had a water balloon fight.

Yes, he did. That was way cool. Once you complete G8, you can use the dragon summon skill once per day, or something like that. I haven't touched G8 stuff since it's not required. Maybe I'll do it, after seeing how cool that looks!

Then we left the mission, and uh well. I saw this, looks dirty XD
