I think Drizzing has been petrified for about two days straight.
Bones is near dead, but we can't give up. It's better to be offensive than defensive at this point.
Bones isn't the only one hurting.
I'm not animating it AGAIN. Both Fluffy and Squishy survived this Ice Storm, anyway.
We made some progress this turn.
Of all my near-dead units, I think Squishy is the most precious, so he gets a Mega Restore.
The enemy enchanter made a big mistake this last turn, getting into Euld's spell range.
Oh! It's the max level ZAP spell!
Bukluaa's ZAP is a few levels lower than Euld's but it's still quite effective.
And what do we do with a near-dead enemy unit that's out of all my units' range?
Blade Storm, baby!
And soon after...
Coincidence or not? You decide!
Yumekai learned Ice Arrow, the level 3 ice spell.
Buklauu learned Restore, level 4 heal!
How powerful is that max level ZAP spell?
Insanely.
Blizzard Breath is a welcome change from Ice Storm.
But next turn he got bored of that already.
Here is Yumekai's new ice spell. If he targets an enemy next to him with it, it hits every hex around him, friend or foe. At range, it only hits the direct target. It's not quite Ice Storm yet.
At this point level 1 fire is useless even against Aqua who is weak against it.
Another promotion for a newbie.
You can tell Ice Arrow from Blizzard Breath because the latter freezes units.
For the fun of it I tried to confuse a hydra, and it worked. Yumekai doesn't have any good range spells. Well, Ice Arrow is ranged, but these enemies are all fairly strong against ice.
The RNG has been nice to our dwarven mage prodigy, giving him a stronger wind spell every time rather than a new low-level spell of a different element.
Um, hopefully I didn't just jinx him...
The confused hydra attacked its fellow, and then it fell to the counterattack.
Zzz. Beast Voice!
Yet another promotion!
Yet another Blizzard Breath.
Guv'Na's new spell can hit two targets!
Confused Yumekai does 50 to Drizzing,
who class changes from the experience!
HP +70, Special Attack +11, Defense +7
And Euld gets one more level and learns level 4 Goat. Oh well! It's higher than Limelle's level now.
One last Blizzard Breath for good measure. And then...
Victory!
