Back to NA....

So, uh, I joined Ruairi server of NA Mabinogi, against my better judgement. I need some more friends there, so add me if you play :)

My first day in ... I was forced to watch Asita compete in the cooking contest.

Yes, I can talk to the Fish Meat Store. Or attack it.

Also, I'm pretty sure they meant to make it Fish & Meat, but the & symbol doesn't like to show up. Which annoys me, I like using it :(

The competition was actually somewhat fun. It's a nice change to be able to talk to everyone else around me. But, I'm super-shy, no, really! So I didn't talk all that much.

I did meet Asita's friend, Raci. I hope I can overcome the shyness sometime and really become friends with her.

Lol cow. I wanted one when they first came out, but I know they aren't very useful.


Since my made my char on my old Mari account, I started off allied with Giants already. I was so weirded out at first, I thought it was a bug! But, apparently alliance is saved by account. So, if you have 2 humans, and you ally with one, the other is auto-allied as well.

Krug was not happy when I broke alliance. I feel so ... mean ...

Asita gave me some red Gladiuses. I look so ... menacing, in my dress.


The next day, Cosmic sent me some awesome Fox Giant Plate Boots in the mail. I don't even know her very well or anything. What a nice starting out gift, though!

So here's how mismatched my clothing is now!


Cosmic also sent a Starry Wizard Hat, but I already got the green one from a Runda run. I should return it to her.

Asita asked Raci to help me with my first G1 RP quest. I ... don't know. I don't want to force her into being my 3rd just because I'm a friend of a friend, sort of thing... Also I get the impression that she's rather busy.

Was the spider really that big? I don't know, I was kinda alt-tabbing then.

Bleh! I must overcome this shyness.


And then I ran into an Ikkisuki and was scared for my life.

But he looks quite cute. He was too hyper to take a better pic of.

Ah, please don't get upset over the font. It's needed, SRSLY.

Baldur's Gate 003

Previous We return to the map south of the Friendly Arm Inn to hunt the ogre that stole all those belts. We found it easily enough. It aggro'd Soma, who I moved back so he could start shooting. Then, when everyone else mobbed the ogre, it got kinda stunlocked in the trees and went down without a fight. It was very anticlimactic. I was almost hoping for Xzar to get whacked since he ran into melee range. Alas. I really thought someone was going to die. Ogres hit like a truck and could easily one-shot any of our level 1 party.  Anyway, the Ogre had two unidentified belts to bring back to the quest giver. But instead of going right back to the Friendly Arm, we explore the rest of this map, and run into these clowns. Jaheira:  There is no surrender for carrion like these. Fruits Basket Manga (warning, spoilers and swearing)

I've been reading Foruba (the 'cute' Japanese nickname for Fruits Basket ) manga for a while now. The series started off wonderfully.  I loved it and was hooked rather fast.  I actually bought the first 12 volumes for a steal on eBay. The plot sounds lame, but the characters are quite likable.  Basically, Tohru is living alone, has nowhere to go, and she happens across the Sohma family, and they take her in, only for her to find that many of the Sohmas are cursed and change into animals when they come into close contact with people of the opposite sex.  This last part always sounded ridiculous to me, so I avoided the series until Herro asked me to watch the anime with him online once. I also avoided it because Tohru's eyes are freaking huge and scary! Pic from this site .
