A two-handed sword that all races, even elves, can use.

It makes your Spear of Light skill damage skyrocket.
Here are some pictures of the Brionac/Spear of Light combo in action. I cropped them some and blurred the names since I don't know if these players wanted that revealed.

First is on a gray fox for 14957 damage:


Second is also on a gray fox, 19244 damage:

This one is a critical, though.

Unfortunately the player's SoL rank is unknown to us. But still, mega cool. By the way, one of those players is my guildmaster. But I don't really talk with my guildmates ;;

The DOWNSIDE is that the spear costs 4 AP (yes, AP) per point to repair.

So, how often would you be using that spear, eh?

Baldur's Gate 003

Previous We return to the map south of the Friendly Arm Inn to hunt the ogre that stole all those belts. We found it easily enough. It aggro'd Soma, who I moved back so he could start shooting. Then, when everyone else mobbed the ogre, it got kinda stunlocked in the trees and went down without a fight. It was very anticlimactic. I was almost hoping for Xzar to get whacked since he ran into melee range. Alas. I really thought someone was going to die. Ogres hit like a truck and could easily one-shot any of our level 1 party.  Anyway, the Ogre had two unidentified belts to bring back to the quest giver. But instead of going right back to the Friendly Arm, we explore the rest of this map, and run into these clowns. Jaheira:  There is no surrender for carrion like these.
