Griffin Pet!!

Heya, it's been a while, but since I survived my exams, and I'm not taking summer classes, I can play game again!

And what the **** KR added a Griffin pet.  Man, am I glad I bought some extra NX over Christmas.  I bought one immediately.  It's limited time only, and will stop being sold on May 10th (9th over here in North America).

ALSO!  KR server has added the option of changing your new pet's color palette.  There were orange, red, gray, black, white options for the Griffin.  I chose the white head, gray back since I felt it looked more natural and sharp.  Natural?  What am I thinking.  Griffins aren't real!

Anyway, I have to show off his pics, of course.

By the way, my character is not age 10.  She's age 20, but somehow her model is showing up age 10.  Eh, like it matters.





Using the Roar skill. The roar skill stuns the enemies (I guess it is like Stomp). It has a minute delay between uses.


Flying.




Smashing.


RAWR.


It uses its paw to attack for normal attacks. I expected it to attack with its beak.


Sitting serenely.


I LOVE THIS PET. He's a strong fighter and has max smash at level 25. And he can run as fast as a Shire and flies (about the speed of a Pelican). All his combat skills get maxed at level 40, most way before then. His magic skills suck, but who really cares?

Baldur's Gate 003

Previous We return to the map south of the Friendly Arm Inn to hunt the ogre that stole all those belts. We found it easily enough. It aggro'd Soma, who I moved back so he could start shooting. Then, when everyone else mobbed the ogre, it got kinda stunlocked in the trees and went down without a fight. It was very anticlimactic. I was almost hoping for Xzar to get whacked since he ran into melee range. Alas. I really thought someone was going to die. Ogres hit like a truck and could easily one-shot any of our level 1 party.  Anyway, the Ogre had two unidentified belts to bring back to the quest giver. But instead of going right back to the Friendly Arm, we explore the rest of this map, and run into these clowns. Jaheira:  There is no surrender for carrion like these.
