New Town, Taltan!

Here's the awesome intro movie for it!

It's supposed to be spelled Taeltheann or something hard to spell, so I go by the strict Korean (달단) so it's more like Taltan, heh. Or Tartan. That rhymes with Spartan!

Learning Korean is rough, but I'm getting there!

Anyway, on to the story and screenies.

The new town is far west of Dugald Aisle's forest.

Also -snicker- look I own Herro -and- Franky. They're mine!

Herro was super lag here (worse than in Iria?!?) and I was super bored.
So I noticed this silly Korean player kept doing the pet falcon pose. He's wearing blue ... and is that sexy bare look? Hmm .... cute though.

But none can match my Herro and his ... peach?

Out of lag apparently he bought that. Sigh, he still doesn't have shoes.

Later on we found Fruitcake the NPC, seriously, it's a creepy he/she thing wearing purple and a pimpish hat. I didn't take a pic of him at the time because he scared me.
Here's a pic taken from the movie if you didn't see it.

He sells general shop items and DYES!!! Finally we testies can buy dyes in the store, instead of relying on other players with advanced item service. Seriously, paying 300-450k per dye was ridiculous. Herro dyed his peach clothes to a cool baby blue (no pic ... I fail).

Also later, while talking about the new quest board, a Korean player tried to talk to us.

Player: ... H ......H ..........H...

-minute later-

Player: ........Hi ........

I have an odd sense of humor, but I thoroughly enjoyed that. I know for a fact it will be even worse when I try to start typing in Korean, so I shouldn't laugh at that, though. You know how long it took for me to type Tartan in Korean up there? Yeah, a while...

Some pretty picture I took while waiting for him to come out of lag.

The only other pic I took was of a goat. I thought that was a nice touch that Taltan has goats instead of the sheepies we see everywhere else.

Well, I totally got bored of waiting for Herro to de-lag, and I guess he knew, so we went to do Karu Forest Dungeon with random friends of his.

In Dunbarton, waiting for people, this naked girl started following us around, probably attracted since she noticed us typing in English. It arouses a lot of curiosity.

Why do I notice the silly people? Well, she looks kinda cute with the matching hat. Also, I remember someone on NA's forum asking why we can't dye our undergarment colors. Good question. I'd love mine to be blue~~~

Herro took forever to make it to Kela. Hell, I went and horsed it to the bloody Karu sungate so I could bring everyone there by the time he finally got there!

At least I have a horse on Test server.

So we made it to Karu. Here's everyone that came with.

I've never met Jimmy and Keiko. I vaguley remember a Sora in the Peka attempt the other week? Gem, I'm not sure I like him. Seems kind of ... snobbish, or something. Well, I don't like many people I play with though for some reason or other, so I deal with it.
And Herro, well ^^;; That title he's using means something, right? =p

Gem beat Incubus last week, but no one is a male and can wear the horns, so he let Herro wear them. He looks ... the part I guess. Also you can see his new clothes. They're quite nice.

Though, uhh as Jimmy points out, he's obviously a male ....

The kiddies were keen on using alchemy to blow shit up. The damage has been nerfed, though, and nothing dies to it in one hit anymore.

Herro figured out how to use the earthen wall skill. Looks ... quite useful o_o

(Click it~)

We had to rush the dungeon towards the end since my family wanted me to get off and go out to eat with them. I felt bad for everyone, since they seemed to want to kill EVERYTHING, instead of skipping rooms.

I got a Talc Sickle. Yay (not). I already had one from my last Karu run!

  1. And now we know the correct spelling is Taillteann (well hopefully, never know with NA's translator's heh).

    Also
    Kela = Qilla
    Peka = Peaca

    I still spell things the pre-NA way sometimes ^^;;
