G9 Final

Since G9 is coming to NA, I figure I'd get off my lazy duff and finish my G9 series.

I finally regain control of my character, and my Korean partymates from the previous mission quickly go to work by unleashing Escape Bombs lol.



Run run run. More cutscene. The Koreans pressured me to skip many of them, sadly.

Ah, we regain control. Let's get to work! I assume we must protect Cai as he fiddles with the dark portal of ultimate evil.



He triggered that Ice Mine from earlier? Seriously? :|



Oh holy God what is that? Cai, you fail, big time!

Fuuuuuu. It powered up. Someone summoned Adniel like right on me, too. >:(



This is when Nao soulstones are useful. Poor Rozalis, our only elf, had to use two or three of them in under 5 minutes. Anyone else would be a waste; Hide is necessary to successfully revive others. Claimh Solas has a huge aggro range and its attacks have a large AoE too.

Baldur's Gate 003

Previous We return to the map south of the Friendly Arm Inn to hunt the ogre that stole all those belts. We found it easily enough. It aggro'd Soma, who I moved back so he could start shooting. Then, when everyone else mobbed the ogre, it got kinda stunlocked in the trees and went down without a fight. It was very anticlimactic. I was almost hoping for Xzar to get whacked since he ran into melee range. Alas. I really thought someone was going to die. Ogres hit like a truck and could easily one-shot any of our level 1 party.  Anyway, the Ogre had two unidentified belts to bring back to the quest giver. But instead of going right back to the Friendly Arm, we explore the rest of this map, and run into these clowns. Jaheira:  There is no surrender for carrion like these.
