Commerce System

With G15 came the Commerce System. Basically, you buy stuff with fomor (humanoid monster) money and travel to another town and sell it there for profit. Here is a brief idea of how it works.

Here's the window:

It previews the current market value of the item before you buy it.

The red arrows up show you how many more ducats you would get if you sold the item at each particular town. Generally, the farther places are better for profit. But then you have to walk all the way there, so you need to balance profit and speed.

The blue arrow down next to Dunbarton's price means it sells for that many ducats less than the purchase price. I'd lose money going there.

The price they quote you is the price you'd get if you sold the item there at that exact moment. The prices fluctuate -- by the time you actually get there it might not be worth that at all.

You first start off with a backpack, which makes you run really slow, but when you get a little over 3,000 ducats you can upgrade to a 'handcart'

The handcart moves at a walking speed (?) it's still slow

The next thing is a horse & buggy at over 100,000 ducats. It's the fastest. Then, last, an elephant at 350,000 ducats. The elephant is slower but can carry more goods.

Watch out for crazy drivers.

Like, yeah.

They say unicorns are magic but phasing through walls is ridiculous.

After two days of grueling labor, my Elf earned a horse & buggy.

And the Quickening / Hot Time event was a bust. At certain times on Saturday night, 1 person in every channel would earn a buttload of experience. That's right. A buttload. It was in the millions.

But everyone got a gift box. Here's what I got.

(ignore my GUI mods please)

The event happened 3 times. I got this every time.

Ugh. I have no interest in alchemy. So. Yeah.

Yeah sure Carasek...
