Scarn 3rd - Morning

Invye and Jim have taken the town of Castin during the night. Originally, they were to head south and take Tourla Castle, but with the enemy still in sight, our strategist has ordered them to bunk down and repel the expected attack.

Jim the manticore is in trouble. Chimeras are super-effective against him. Invye, on the other hand, is pretty strong against them. And dragon pups are always a pain in the ass.

The enemies have multiplied overnight. Fortunately, our ghost squadron has arrived. MJ proves his use by paralyzing a skeleton.

Paralysis is simply AWESOME. It's why I made sure to get 5 ghosts ;) The enemy can't attack or counterattack me when paralyzed. Also, my units pretend like the paralyzed unit isn't even there, so I can walk through it.

Movement is always a problem. The movement range is affected by enemies nearby (as well as terrain and unit's race). See the gap between the skeleton and chimera on the road above Link? In theory, any of my characters should be able to move there since it's in their movement range. But actually none of my people can move there because the enemies are there. Only Link and the ghost next to him can move there since it's only 1 hex away from them.

This prevents us (and the enemy) from unfairly surrounding each other and owning. Flying units are somewhat exempt from these restrictions.

Scarn 3rd - Evening

Jim the manticore took Tourla this afternoon; he was too injured to stay with Invye and defend Castin, so he retreated and will rest there for some time. Fortunately Bob, the other manticore, has taken his place with the harpy.

One of our raw recruits has shown himself worthy of a promotion. He desires to use a bow. Unfortunately, we don't have any. The nearest town that sells them is Milsey, which we have yet to take.

+20 HP, +11 Attack, +2 Defense

It's the town with the dragon pup sitting on it.
